Add or Edit Users

Users are all the employees who will use the BizTrack Program / App. This is where you set up their information, along with the permissions and rights that control what they can access.

  • A single new user can be added manually.
  • Multiple users can be added at once with an import.

  1. Select Setup in the navigation menu on the left.
  2. Select Users in the menu below.
  3. Select Add User (green button, top left).
  4. Complete the relevant fields (see below).
  5. Scroll down if needed and select Save (green button at the bottom).
  • * First Namecompulsory.
  • * Last Namecompulsory.
  • ID Number — not compulsory, but highly recommended for future identity verification.
  • * Emailcompulsory. Used for logging in on the App/Website. If a personal or company email isn’t available, create a fictional email address.
  • * Cellphonecompulsory. Standard number, no dialling codes or spaces.
  • Default user right — select a default user right if applicable.
  • Employee Code — if applicable/available.
  • Required Hours Monthly — if applicable/available.
  • Hourly Wage — if applicable/available.
  • Is Restrict Location — select if the user must be limited to their assigned store(s)/customer(s) to clock in.
  • Is Customer — select if the user is an actual store/customer (for placing orders).
  • Is Allow Discount — select if the user gets discounted rates when placing orders.
  • Termination Date — if applicable/available.
  • Choose Tags — select the tags relevant to this user.

First, prepare your Excel sheet:

  • Paste the available fields into the first row.
  • Keep the first cell selected, then click Data → Text to Columns.
  • Select Delimited, then Next.
  • Deselect Tab and select Semicolon, then Next.
  • Click Finish.
  • Adjust the column width to view all fields properly.
  • Insert your data.
  • Double-check the work and save your document.

Then import it:

  1. Return to your BizTrack page and select Choose a File.
  2. Search for your saved file and select it.
  3. Ensure the correct file name is displayed next to the Choose a File button.
  4. Select Import.
  5. Double-check that the fields correspond with each other.
  6. Select Import again.
  7. Double-check that your import was done correctly.
